'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Posh - Zakuani to Sign Permanent Deal?

It`s probably a little known fact but since the Fulham defender, Gaby Zakuani, joined us we`ve yet to lose a football match.

Now it appears that our talisman defender could be on the verge of a permanent move to Peterborough.

Apparently, according to reports published in the local papers, a permanent deal was already an option when Posh took him on loan.

Darren Ferguson, naturally keen to hang onto Gaby, had this to say to the local media,

"The loan deal has been a great chance for both parties to have a look at each other. Gaby has done extremely well and I now need to sit down with him and have a good chat.'

'We have got a few days between Saturday and the FA Cup game the following weekend to try and sort a few things out."

'There is an agreement in place with Fulham for a permanent deal that will go through providing we can agree terms with Gaby. We will be paying money for him, but it will be well spent in my opinion."

'We haven't lost a football match while Gaby has been at the club. He is an out and out defender with a lot of pace and he has formed a great partnership with Craig Morgan.'

Here`s hoping a deal can be done to keep Gaby at London Road on a permanent basis.
