Posh - Ferguson Committed to London Road

It`s never nice when a manager gets the boot, even less so when your own manager then becomes linked with that post.

Thankfully, Darren Ferguson has denied any interest in the post at Queens Park Rangers, following the dismissal of Iain Dowie, telling a local paper,

'It is just speculation and you get that in football. I am very happy here and we are going about things in the right way."

'I am obviously very proud of what we have achieved in just over 18 months because we have come a really long way."

'Myself and the chairman have a plan and winning promotion last season was only the first part of it. We hope to do the same again this season, although it will of course be difficult.'

Glad to hear it Darren, onwards and upwards (with the Posh) as the saying goes.
